Awake

It's 3.30am in the morning and can't seem to get to sleep. Maybe it's the afternoon nap. Slept too much :P

Juz fed Amelia around 2am. She couldn't finished her milk again. Left about 1 oz before she used her little tongue to push the bottle away. Sigh..must remove her title of "milk gangster" soon if she continues like this. Maybe should try her cry a bit longer next time so that she's hungrier for milk. headache...any advice, mummies and daddies?

Hohoho... the "milk gangster" seems to have join the club of "milk protestors" like Beatrice ... hahaha..

Well, Amelia is going to be 3 months soon, and its about time she may reduce her milk intake as per my Pd's advice. Beatrice does the same thing by playing and rolling the rubber tit with her tongue when she doesn't wants the milk =[ Her Pd taught us to feed her when she is abt to zzzz off. That make feeding much easier and she drinks more!

Try it out mommy or juz let her be! Maybe she is growing up juz like us, needs only 5 meals a day ...

U can let her be but have to monitor her general health to see if she is uncomfortable anywhere.
- Check if her stomach is bloated
- Check if she is passing motion regularly
- Check whether she is having any temperature, etc
- Does she cry more often
- Does she show any signs of pain?
if all the above checks has been done.. and u concluded that there's nothing wrong with her, u can safely conclude that its a passing phase.

Usually their appetite shd stay in the first 6 mths of their live. After which, shd increase slowly as they grow bigger.

Best is to check w pead if u are still worried.

how old is ur little precious? If she's before 6 mths old, better juz let her drink when she wants lor.. i personally cant bear it letting my bb cry longer b4 i feed..which some pple will say tt im spoiling him la. but how will we know for sure if they are starving when they cry out for milk rite?? So anyway.. if she cant finish her milk at times, let her be lor. Sometimes we ourselves eat lesser in one meal compared to another rite.. =P

my precious is abt 2mths+. ya, to let the baby cries too long, there will be wind in the stomach, worst still, rite. she's better during these few feeds, at least not as much as 1oz left. guess it's a passing stage of growing up :)
