Amelia's 1st Month Party : 6 Aug 2006 Sun

6 Aug 2006, we held Amelia's full month party at our Buangkok flat.

The night before, it was the 1st time that Amelia stepped into our home since birth, as we were camping at my mum's place for confinement. She was full of curiosity as we brought her around the rooms to explore the house. Yang Yang commented that baby Amelia was so lucky to have her own bed unlike when we were young as few of us cuddled together to sleep on a single bed. However it was more cozy then.

The very day started buzzing with a simple ritual of trimming the hair and nails by my mum and sisters. We dressed her up in her new suit & leg jewellery as we waited for the buffet and guests to come. It was about 1-2pm as the uncles, aunties, cousins and entourage went streaming in one by one into our 4-room flat. Some of them were visiting our place for the 1st time, thus it was a house-tour cum baby exhibition :P Our house was packed with relatives from both Sean and my side. Amelia was a star as she struggled to stay awake to play with the guests. Finally the hustle and bustle ended around 6-7pm+.

Amelia received a lot of presents and hong baos today. Personally I love the photo frame with special Amelia's moments that my sis, Sam & her bf, Stan gave. Thank you all for the shower of love :))
