Time flies. Be going back to work tomorrow, 6 Jun. A few asked why on a Fri..well, cos' was advised by my HR that my maternity leave is by weeks and since it started on a Fri, so...u know lah.
Unlike last time, this time round, am having mixed feelings about going back to work. Am concerned about my mum juggling with the 2 kids, especially with Alden who seems to be a sticky and fussy baby at times. Amelia is also trying to get the attention from us and seems to be not progressing well with her toilet training. Before Alden's arrival, she could at times, alert my mum before she peeped but now, she seems to purposely do it at a reverse manner, causing us (when I am at home now) to scramble to carry her from her urine and clean up the mess. Maybe she is still not ready....
On the other hand, my close colleague is also leaving us. One of the few whom I can click in this company. Gonna miss her. Well, need to re-organise myself and embrace it positively. What has to come, will come, no point be worrying too much. Jia you! Jia you!

Amelia will take time to get used to baby Alden. Nat is still adjusting..trust me.. she's still snatching and fighting w matt ALL the time.
Amelia's prob trying to get ur attention by doing stuff purposely. So Have to give more patience lor..
and explain to her why certain things cannot be done.
2nd child always hv the disadvantage.. but he'll get used to it. :p soon he'll learn to be more independent and get things his way.
As for work.. am sure u can handle it! dont worry k..
wow, you are back to work so ... soon!
Alice, don't worry so much about Amelia's potty training. I think she is just now not ready yet. Or perhaps you could get your mommy to help to remind her more often. For kids at their age have a tendency to forget things quite quickly if they are not reminded.
As for the attention needs, I agree with Rachel. Children at the age of 18 - 24 mths would start to seek attention from parents. In order not to steer up jealousy among the kids, maybe you could give Amelia more attention while Sean attends to Alden's need.
Jia you! Jia you! Mommy Egg.
